VECTOR WOODCUTS

One can’t deny the artistic, cultural and social impact the original trilogy had on this world. Especially for those of us who were children during their first run.
I did not grow up when the first silent films came out or during the heyday of westerns but their heavy emphasis on style has always been a source of inspiration for me.

VECTOR ILLUSTRATION

All the monster images started out as Pen & Ink drawings. They were then scanned and converted to a vector illustration.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

I love a project where I can mix my art direction, design and illustration talents all together. This is a packaging and game design for a board game I will be launching on Kickstarter in the near future. When its completed it will contain 50 original pieces of card art, custom dice and tokens.

DIgital paintings

The Chapel at the Dawn is one of my first and favorite Digital Paintings. It started with a photo I took of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Buffalo, NY that I combined with one of my a stormy cloud photos and my very first Photoshop “bat” brush. The Chapel was published in Spectrum illustration annual.

Acrylic Paintings

Acrylic painting is my most recent creative venture. I’m still working on finding my style but loving every minute of exploration and process. I plan on creating a whole series of anatomically correct sugar skulls.
